MONTHLY ONE DAY CHOIR
For the one-day choir at Prema, we’ll be singing Kacey Musgraves’ beautiful song “Rainbow”. The song is a much needed reminder to keep hope alive and that often our struggles are temporary. The sky will finally open after the storm. In honor of Pride month, this choir will benefit the Okra Project—an incredible Black trans-led organization serving Black trans people in NYC. May we sing for a better world, together.
For Pride Month, PREMA will match all proceeds from Choir and donate them to The Okra Project. Thank you for helping us support this important work through community, music, and collective care. 💛🌈
Each session we learn a new song. Songs will be released the week of the choir and music sent out to participants prior to joining!
During our time together we will:
Play singing games to activate our voices, bodies, and connection to one another
Work through the song section by section, infusing some musicality as we go
Discuss the lyrics of the song and what meaning we can find in it
Sing through the song a few times in different formations and experience the music in unique ways!
Sliding Scale:
Community Rate $15
Sustainer Rate $25
Supporter Rate $35
Please consider donating what you are financially able to so we can maintain this beautiful offering!
