The Evolution of YogaA 200 Hour Immersion into the Practice [led by Senior Prema Faculty]
What does it mean to be a practitioner/teacher of yoga today?
Join us on a path of deep inquiry, curiosity, and transformation. We understand yoga to be a moving, breathing, ever evolving practice that, while maintaining tradition, can expand outside boundaries and dogma.
This training values inquisition, conversation and expression.
Weekend trainings will be February-June.
Prema One Day Choir [with Kenter Davies]
Each session we learn a new song. Songs will be released the week of the choir and music sent out to participants prior to joining!
For the one-day choir at Prema, we will be exploring the classic song, “Blowin’ in the Wind” by Bob Dylan. The song poses many questions about how we can find an end to human cruelty and understand the truth that is all around us. It sounds out a call for long-lasting peace, compassion, and justice. We hope to find some collective healing together as we find our own meaning through the beautiful lyrics.
During our time together we will:
Play singing games to activate our voices, bodies, and connection to one another
Work through the song section by section, infusing some musicality as we go
Discuss the lyrics of the song and what meaning we can find in it
Sing through the song a few times in different formations and experience the music in unique ways!
Sliding Scale:
Community Rate $15
Sustainer Rate $25
Supporter Rate $35
Please consider donating what you are financially able to so we can maintain this beautiful offering!
