A place to step away, gather, and create.
Prema North @ the Barn is now opening as a private creative space for our community. Come with friends, collaborators, fellow artists, writers, or makers. Spend a long weekend writing, painting, reading, moving, developing an idea, or simply giving yourself uninterrupted time to think, relish in nature and create.
There's no set schedule and no programming. The weekend is yours.
In a time when so much of our attention is pulled outward, we wanted to create space to do the opposite — to slow down, quiet the noise, and make room for creativity.
what’s included
Exclusive use of the entire barn
Full use of the kitchen and all common spaces, including the upstairs creative/movement space
Outdoor sauna

Summer access to the local private lake
A local area guide — farmer's markets, restaurants, shopping, yoga, and massage nearby
Driving directions sent upon booking
Please note: the Barn kitchen is a meat-free space.
Bring your own food, cook together, hire a private chef, or explore the surrounding Hudson Valley. The kitchen — and the weekend — are yours to make your own.
Come to Create
This space is intentionally open-ended. Write. Make art. Read. Move. Photograph. Paint. Plan. Collaborate. Start something new, or finally finish something you've been putting off.
You don't need a formal project or a particular outcome. Sometimes the most valuable part of creating is simply having the time and space to begin.Transportation to and from the Barn. You can either drive or take Amtrak to Hudson. The Barn is then a short 20 minute taxi/uber from the train station.
THE DETAILS
Four weekends per year — one in each season
Friday 3pm arrival, Monday 11am departure
About 2.5 hours from NYC by car; Amtrak to Hudson is also an option, though most guests find driving easiest
$2,250 flat rate for the entire weekend (per barn, not per person — bring up to 6 guests and split the cost however you'd like). Up to 2 dogs are permitted with a small additional fee of $25/day for each dog.
2 car maximum
Reach out to check available dates for the upcoming season and tell us a bit about you/your guests (see below for the questionnaire) — weekends are booked first come, first served. Once a weekend is booked for that season, it is booked until the following year.
